as an Indian who's not american, I can guarantee that the only way indians care about american football is when they're american too. like, most Indians who are born and raised in India will have not even heard of american style football. they will call it rugby !! (which is a different game albeit having some similarities)

literally we are just as american as white people, i am american, born and raised. i have never even been to india, which i’m not proud of, but even with all of the diaspora and assimilation i still am not even seen as an american. because i look brown.
