I lost a dear friend in the same kind of accident in 1978. He wasn’t driving, he was a back seat passenger. The car hit a utility pole, the pole snapped in half, the car burst into flames. I still miss him.

We need special licenses that prove people are capable of driving these cars. We have these types of licenses on the track where it’s relatively safe to drive these fast cars but it’s never made sense why you don’t need it on the street where it’s exponentially more dangerous
