@midnightprayers0: Wake Up Early Enough to Give God Your Attention (Psalm 5:3) Do not make your time with God something you squeeze into the few minutes left before leaving the house. Wake up early enough to slow down, prepare your heart, and give God your undivided attention before the demands of the day begin. 2. Begin With Prayer Before Opening Your Bible (Psalm 119:18) Ask the Holy Spirit to open your understanding before you begin reading. Pray for wisdom, conviction, and the grace to understand and apply what you are about to study. Do not approach Scripture merely to finish a chapter; approach it expecting God to teach you. 3. Read a Specific Portion of Scripture Slowly (2 Timothy 3:16-17) Choose a book or reading plan and follow it consistently rather than jumping randomly from verse to verse every morning. Read slowly enough to understand what the passage is saying, who is speaking, and what is happening. 4. Ask What God Wants You to Learn (James 1:22) After reading, ask yourself: What does this passage reveal about God? What does it teach me about how I should live? Is there a command to obey, a warning to take seriously, a promise to trust, or a truth I need to remember? 5. Write Down What Stands Out to You (Habakkuk 2:2) Keep a notebook beside your Bible and record important lessons, Scriptures, convictions, prayers, or questions. Writing helps you slow down and remember what God is teaching you instead of forgetting it shortly after you close your Bible. 6. Turn What You Read Into Prayer (Philippians 4:6-7) Do not separate Bible study from prayer. Use what you have learned to talk to God. If the passage contains a command, ask Him for grace to obey it. If it reveals a promise, thank Him for it. If it exposes an area of weakness, ask Him to help you change. 7. Surrender Your Day to God Before You Leave (Proverbs 3:5-6) Before you begin your responsibilities, commit your plans, decisions, conversations, work, and movements to God. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you throughout the day and help you live out what you learned that morning. 💥💥💥 Beloved, do not allow your mornings to begin with the noise of the world before you have heard the truth of God's Word. Build the discipline of opening your Bible, praying, listening, and surrendering your day to God. When you consistently begin your mornings with Him, you do not simply start your day differently-you begin to live your entire day differently.🙏🏻
