It’s the growing pains of the new EU EES. Hopefully this will all be replaced with automatic gates in early 2027 when the app is launched for pre-registration for US and UK travelers. Frankfurt is in the same situation- I flew from Amsterdam-Frankfurt-Us last week bc my Amsterdam to DC flight was cancelled. Unfortunately bc of passport control lines, I missed my connecting flight and had to get on a different one later - we had over 70 misconnects for that later flight and over 100 misconnects for my original connection

For CDG you need to arrive5 hrs early at MINIMUM. ESPECIALLY during peak travel months

I was there in May we were there 4 hours before our flight and still nearly missed it. They were letting people behind us in the queue go first and I had my 16 month old little girl with us and they still had no urgency to get us through
