I do west coast swing and social dance all the time. I have resting bitch face and don’t smile hardly ever when dancing. Too many people have said “I thought you hated me” [Tears of joy] I’m just focused or relaxed because dancing is when my brain actually shuts off I’m sorrrryyyyu

My girlfriend hates that I don't want to hang out with her friends or when I do i don't really participate. I had to tell her that when we hang out with her friends the conversations are exclusively reminiscing about events I wasn't a part of or theyre about someone i don't know so how can I participate or add to any conversations?

When I'm young I used to ask visitors "when will you leave?" and once my mom had to explain to the visitors that I asked that because I want them to stay not actually leave... And then It hit me that all the time I asked a visitor when will you leave so I can know how much happy with them being around can I be, they were thinking I want them to leave 😅✨

Calling it stone walling feels like it's giving connotations of exclusion. Not emoting your face 'properly' is an autistic trait. It leads back to explicit communication vs implied communication.
