Literally!!! I saw a video today of someone going through a slide show of what things the baby uses with their husband and he knows them all and he's getting so much praise in the comments???? Imagine if it was the only way around. Knowing all those things is just being a parent you don't need a reward

I mostly agree with you. Except where partners are truly complementary. Within succesful teams, people enjoy the different style and different competence of their colleagues. I think it's the same within relationships. So perhaps your partner is not incompetent but different-competent. Could that work?

Yes but why women have to teach them, their mothers, girlfriends, wifes. So weird. I know you will do a good job to teach your son to do basic things. But the problem is that it is presented as mother fault that sons don’t know stuff but it is caused by their father doing nothing.

People are really afraid of being alone. You seem like a very strong and independent person, you have no qualms with being alone until you find the right person. But I think that’s an exceptionally rare characteristic. Most people I know really can’t stand being alone for a prolonged amount of time. Most will settle for the next warm body that will give them a slight compliment.
