The stall previously operated from Star Hotel Coffee Shop along Lebuh Carnarvon, before moving a little further down the same street into its own shophouse. The uncle who used to serve customers at the original coffee shop is no longer there, while the current establishment has expanded its menu to include noodles and other choices. Naturally, the experience feels a little different now. The new space is brighter and more modern, and the menu is broader compared to the humble stall many people remember.
