Just an hour earlier, Wehr had posted footage to Instagram showing a police car parked behind the McLaren after being pulled over, for reasons still unclear. Friends described him as an icon in the car community and "a modern day Paul Walker," noting he died on Paul Walker's birthday, while his wife Emma and mother Sarah led emotional tributes.
