I worked at McDonald’s during the $.29 hamburgers and $.39 cheeseburgers while being very pregnant and we had to make 20 sandwiches at a time all day long. The limit was 20 but Mom and Dad then their kid would come in and order 20 sandwiches each and you know what we made them because that was our job.

i remember waiting at the hospital, had been there for hours. waiting with a family member on hospice. there were alot of us, probably the whole family. we were distraught, tired, losing someone we loved. someone went and picked up food for us and even though it was a simple gesture it is still something i think about to this day. you never know what people are going through.
