My pet peeve at parks, is parents who sit on their phones instead of watching their child or interacting with them.

When I get mad is when there’s a toddler trying to go down the slide and a bigger kid ignoring the toddler waiting to go down and just running up the slide almost squashing the little kid. Then you look over and the parent of that big kid isn’t even facing the playground. Like if you’re using your phone fine whatever but like face the playground so you can keep an eye out atleast some of the time.

When that happens, I just tell my kids to go down and if they knock that kid down/off too bad. Or if I am in a good mood, I’ll ask them to stop first off.

my kids can climb the slide but if someone is trying to come down they always have right of way.

I’ve told kids off before lol not nasty I’ve just said hey can we not climb up the slide please and they stopped

if there's no one at the park I let my boys climb up the slide. if theres people there repeatedly doing the wrong thing, and if they go down and take that child out then thats on the other child and their parents for doing the wrong thing. 🤷♀️
