I always feel awful for the train drivers when someone is hit, I can’t imagine how harrowing that is.

the person recording the video said the guy fell onto the tracks, hit his head was unresponsive, she jumped to help him, screaming for help but the train hit them a few seconds later.

My distant cousin is a train operator and he has two kids and 10 years ago someone jumped in front of his train and died and he was so extremely traumatized he as a 40 year old man went back to live with him mom at home and his daughters went to live with their mom and he went to therapy…. Im so sorry for anyone thats heart hurts watching or experiencing this.

Smh I feel bad for them because they doing they job and have too deal w this. Take care of your mental health and if your having a ruff day deff don’t go into the train stations. It affects everyone’s day really.

NEVER EVER GO ON THE TRACKS FOR NOTHING AND IF SOMEONE FALLS TELL THEM TO GET OFF THE TRACKS TO THE SIDE AND CALL FOR HELP. THIS HAPPENS A LOT AND PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW RHAT THE TRAINS DO NOT STOP NO MATTER WHAT AND EVEN IF THEY TRY TO IT WONT STOP IN TIME. SO PLEASE DO NOT GO IN THE TRACKS IDC IF SOMETHING IMPORTANT FELL. i was heading to home Wood-haven BLVD and my train was stuck i came from E train on Saturday Late night 11:30pm they started running the trains at 12:10am i was in the train from 10:45pm and i was like what happens i mean Mamdani should solve the problems and tell the homeless to stay safe in America specially in MTA tracks if something happens MTA is the problem to solve it i hate that for stucking 1-2 hours 😭🤧

My dad is a train operator… a dozen jumpers during the duration of his career…. Its like he shows no emotional response now and goes back to work the next day

What’s even worse is that that particular station where that train was headed it on a curve makes it even harder and put some more pressure on the operator to put that train into Emergency.

I had a 12-9 at Mott. 7 cars over him at the entering end of n/b platform so you can just imagine how fast I was going. When I checked on him, all I saw was flesh.
