@imtrinews: 😭😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢 -tamarathlon Sometimes, the hardest answer is no 🥺 This World Championship qualification was one of my biggest dreams, and I gave absolutely everything I had to make it happen. So of course, I was incredibly happy and proud to achieve this goal. But after giving it a lot of thought, I decided not to take my spot at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Tennessee. Flying all the way to Tennessee for a 4–5 hour race simply doesn’t feel right for me when I think about the effort, time and everything that comes with it. I absolutely love this sport, and I’m always willing to give a lot for it — but there are more important things in life, too. It wasn’t an easy decision at all, especially after working so hard for this qualification. But sometimes saying no to something you’ve dreamed of is the right choice.
