To all Pinoys out there who apparently commented "hate my own country" and those who wanted to leave the country, this is a message for you. Did Nationality disappear in the hearts of the sea, just like the once and beautiful pearl of the orient seas? I beg to differ, I myself love my country and nationality even if it's full of corrupted, sinful politicians. why you ask.... Because once you hate your Motherland you'll come to the conclusion to separate from it, forgetting the sacrifices and selfless devotion of our heroes, before we "hate" something we have to look at not just the surface but even the depths of the seas. This is exactly why we were taught Araling Panlipunan, to never forget the calamity we once endured, we endured 300+ years of Spanish colonization, endured the American war, even endured the march to our deaths at bataan in April 10 1942. and now you're telling me to give up hope to our country just because it's run by sinful men? NO, I cannot, this is just one of the chapters that our history has to go through, what we need isn't selflessness but people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the country, if you want to go to other countries and serve them, then go! If you do, itaga niyo sa bato magbabago rin ang bansang ito. there's always the dawn after the dusk.
