Unless you are on a plane then it will ONLY focus on the water drop stains and not on the freaking mountain in the background.

Why won't phone manufacturers allow anyone to adjust focus by themselves. Auto adjusting only cameras miss out on some crazy pictures.

you need to move your phone closer and zoom out. when you see the little plant icon appear it means it’ll use the ultra wide lens to take macro photos.

not fully the phone fault tho but physics, it's only changing the camera u're using, u can tell at the end by seeing a blur appear over where the bug disappeared

In case you aren't aware, you have three cameras with different focal lengths that switch depending on the zoom level you want....

Meanwhile, taken with my 3 year old Samsung, and my family will still argue to the death that their phones have better cameras. 🤷♀️

I love the fact that my Android hasn't been dumbed down to the point you can't even do simple stuff like zooming on a bug

It’s still there in the second camera but that one has a different focal length so it is out of focus

I know this isn't the point of the video but if you were wondering, this is a type of moth called a "plume moth" in the family Pterophoridae! The exact species would depend heavily on your geographical location/trees and plants around you that they specifically rely on as part of their life cycles. They CAN fly, they just have super heavily modified wings, and fly more like giant white mosquitoes.
