Michel Mehanna :
In Christianity, the name of God is Jesus Christ, whereas the Arabic word for "God" is *Allah*; *Allah* is therefore not the proper name of God. Similarly, in Islam, there are many proper names for God, such as *Al-Rahman*, *Al-Rahim*, etc. Likewise, in Christianity, there are several proper names for god, such as Jesus, Emmanuel, etc.
Consequently, as Christians, we worship Jesus Christ and not the same God as Muslims, because the latter worship a different God whom they call *Al-Rahman* and *Al-Rahim*.
