Bro, I spent two years on ICT; I mastered it and made a little money—I was doing it right—but things weren't going well at all. Then, a month ago, I switched strategies. Now I use Price Action, Supply & Demand, and SMC—but I ignore FVGs and iFVGs. Since making the switch, I don't open positions unnecessarily anymore. With ICT, there was just a heap of terminology—macros and all sorts of random stuff—but the market is actually much simpler. Today, the ICT crowd was looking for sells while the NQ was rallying—all because they saw SMT, liquidity sweeps, iFVGs, and so on. Meanwhile, if they had just bought at the demand zone below, they would have easily caught the whole move. Trading is just that simple.
