I don't hate the chair there. The only thing I can't really tell on here is its distance from the couch. Like as a conversation grouping it's far but as like a reading chair it would be great. It'd be the perfect place to sit in a gathering so you could monitor all the rooms. Can't wait to see the lamp and curtains
