I also have what some people would consider old-fashioned views when it comes to loyalty and relationships. If my best friend cheated on their partner, they would no longer be my best friend. To me, cheating shows a complete lack of respect, not only for the person they’re supposed to love, but also for themselves. And yes, I would tell their partner. Why? Because keeping that secret would make me complicit in the betrayal. If someone can betray the person they’ve promised to love and be loyal likely to do the same with you.

Well, I think this is absolutely wrong. Because if your best friend can’t even be loyal to their own spouse, then what loyalty do they lie with me? I don’t fully think it’s correct to put yourself into peoples business I definitely wouldn’t be the best friends with that person anymore.
