JJ :
i feel like no one understands her bc most people only talk about her losing vision (which they only see as a robot which is part of their problem, they don’t pay attention) but she IN THIS ORDER; grew up in a war torn country, so she never had a kind childhood to begin with, she then was BOMBED, losing both her parents and her home. her growth and life was stunted right there. forever a 10 year old hiding under a bed with her mother and father under rubble. to be then homeless in a war torn country, studied by evil scientists, then the same man that is somewhat responsible for the bombing, creates a robot that kills her twin brother, what left of her family she has left. then she watches her city fall from the atmosphere, obliterated; what is left of her home. she moves to a new country and finds understanding in another outsider, who she can read because of the mind stone, and he can read her back because of her power. they understand each other and find comfort in what left they have, in each other. she makes him feel human, gives him an identity. he saved her from drowning in her sorrow. only for her to have to KILL him to save everyone else. but wait! he was brought back and killed again ANYWAY in front of her. she then blips and earth passes by for 5 years. she comes back to absolutely nothing. they took his body and started manipulating it, she never got closure for anything that ever happened to her up to this point; she loses control of her powers and rewrites reality to bring him back to her, living the life she only ever could dream of. creating living breathing children from nothing, only to realize the town is feeling all of this too, they’re trapped. so AGAIN to save the population, she kills vision again, only this time her twins along with him. she’s given this book she doesn’t understand, and opens it to better understand herself so that she can try anything she may have left. and yet the book feeds off of her grief and manipulates her. making her believe that she must do ANYTHING to get back what she lost. and with this book as the backseat driver she does terrible things, only way to fix it is killing herself. she never had a life.
