Good day, Sir! I have a few questions that have been on my mind. How can I hear God's voice, and how can I truly learn to put my trust in Him? I've been struggling with lust, and I'm afraid of falling back into it. Because of this, I really want to build a closer relationship with God. I recently read James 2:14, and it left me a little confused about how faith in Jesus works. I understand that my works can't save me from hell and that salvation comes through faith in Jesus. But James 2 says that faith is made complete through works. Does this mean I need to do good works to keep my faith alive? Or is it that genuine faith naturally produces good works? I'm trying to understand how faith, works, and salvation fit together because I'm afraid of confusing myself about how salvation works and, in the process, end up not making it to eternal life. I would really appreciate your guidance.

Very well put friend, we often struggle with the concept of infinite love, sometimes for brief moments I start to put him in a box because I can't even begin to see what's ahead, then I remember how large he is and the downright impossible and unbelievable ways he's come through in my life and I stop myself. I know I'm gonna screw up because I have been since I was born, and yet he loves me still, it is his promise that he will so long as we pursue him with all our hearts. Yes the journey has been painful but I can truly say I love him more than anything or anyone, I love him more than I thought was possible
