Ever since that scene where Sun lied to his father that he was going to meet a friend, and his father insisted on packing food for his "friend" and even took the carrots out, only for us to later see that his son doesn’t eat carrots, it was obvious that he had actually known all along that Sun was secretly seeing his brother. Even though I think many people didn’t pay attention to that detail, for me, that particular scene really showed how warm-hearted he actually is. He didn’t need to say anything or reveal that he knew. He just quietly let them have that connection and looked out for them in his own way, showing just how much he cared about and loved both of his sons. And as we’ve seen throughout the story, he’s always been the kind of father who supports the things that make Sun happy. .And Bay’s father is the complete opposite. He became so blinded by his greed and so consumed by this need to compete and win that he completely lost sight of his sons’ feelings and needs. H e became so obsessed with proving himself against Sun’s father that he ended up neglecting his own sons and even being ashamed of them when they didn’t fit into the life he wanted for them.

Both Bay and Boat deserve better. at first i thought the toxic one was Sun's Dad but as the episode goes by The Toxic of them all was Bay's father cause he manipulates boat and bay's life while showing that he is the most supportive one even though he is not... He was just pretending to show everyone how amazing he is as a dad, but reality tells a different story.

Bay's father is one of the most selfish characters I've seen. They way he treats Boat, valuing his achievements over his son and constantly comparing him to his younger brother is so toxic. Bay has always been obedient son to him and when he needs his support he just throws him out. I wonder if he will realize hos mistakes.

at the first episode I thought sun dad is the toxic in the series but after episode8 been release i realize that the toxic one is bay father!:((I hate the part that boat choose to cut ties with his father because of the toxicness!!cannot wait for the episode 9:(

i realized that the toxic one was Bay's dad because Sun's dad had reason behind his anger the whole time and he just feels lonely without his family complete while in the other hand was Bay's dad who's pride is really high and would rather lose both of his son FIRST before he even realize things. Yeah, maybe Sun's dad would also take long to accept the both of them if his wife didnt talk to him but if you watch ep 8 closely you'll clearly see some regrets through his eyes and probably thinking about the whole situation wisely even before Bay talk to Sun's mother. Sun's dad was very angry when he found out about it yet he never said any harsh words towards his son while Bay's dad didnt JUST said tons of harsh words but also threw Bay out the house. They both deserves better especially Bay.

Actually from the previous ep it’s obvious that bay’s dad more toxic than sun’s dad

he js wants his son to be happy and that's what makes him happy, look at his smile after approving their relationship. Even in the trailer of ep9 he let's Bay stay in their house because his dad kicked him out of thr house that just shows how kind he is.
