Let me be vulnerable with you with you for a second. This is a follow up call I did to a potential stockist after a rejection email I got. One of the most valuable lessons I've learned on this journey of supplying my products to shops is the importance of persistence. As a small business owner, it can be easy to get discouraged when you don't hear back from stockists or shop owners right away. But the truth is, they're busy people with a lot on their plates, and sometimes your email or message just gets lost in the shuffle. It's easy to take it personally and feel like you're not good enough or that your products aren't worthy. But I've learned that it's not always about that at all. It can be about timing, and sometimes it's just not the right time for them. So, what do you do? You keep pushing. You follow up with a polite and friendly email or phone call. You don't give up, even when it feels like you're not getting anywhere. The video I posted is a perfect example of this. After being told by a potential stockist that there was no opportunity for them to stock my products at the moment, I didn't give up. I followed up with a friendly phone call to thank them for their time and to ask what specifically they are looking for. This is how the conversation went! Remember, even when you do get a

After being told by a potential stockist that there was no opportunity for them to stock my products at the moment, I didn't give up. I followed up with a friendly phone call to thank them for their time and to ask what specifically they are looking for. This is how the conversation went! Remember, even when you do get a "no", it's not always a no. Sometimes it's just a "not now". And that's okay. It's not always a rejection of you or your products, it's just a matter of timing sometimes. So, to all my fellow small business owners out there, don't give up. Keep pushing, keep grinding, and keep believing in yourself and your products. Persistence is key, and it will pay off in the end. Ask away if you have any questions. #persistence #SmallBusiness #entrepreneur #shoplocal #SmallBusiness #jewelrybusiness #smallbusinesscoach #retailbusinesscoach #businesstips
