@mariavaneden: Six months after losing my 18-year-old cat Felizitas, I had to say goodbye to my cat Flocke today. She was almost 17 years old and, just like Felizitas, had a bladder tumor. She stopped eating last week, and her quality of life declined dramatically over the last few days. After everything she had been through this year (a stroke, losing her sight afterwards, and her bladder tumor), I sadly had to let my girl go. I’ve had four cats since I was 18, and now I only have my last cat, Sammy, left. My family feels incomplete, and it feels like I’ve lost another part of my childhood. At least my girl got to enjoy her last summer, lying outside in the sun and enjoying the warm weather. ☀️ I miss you so much, Flocke. I hope you can rest in peace now, hopefully enjoying all the treats you could ever want in cat heaven, together with my other two girls, Felizitas and Fenja. 🐾🤍 You will always be a part of my family and a part of me. #cats #petloss #grief #foreverinmyheart
