I love this. I had a similar experience where the receptionist at my office said I don't want to upset you but I want you to know we all remember Hayden and we think of you always. Oh honey, we never forget. We lost our youngest daughter in 2005 and it still feels like yesterday. There’s not a day that goes by that my heart doesn’t ache. I remember somebody said to me when we were about the one year anniversary that it’s been a while. You should be feeling much much better. The feeling of rage that came over me is indescribable. The loss of a child is indescribable. If you’ve never felt this kind of pain, you just cannot understand it. I am so very sorry that you know what this feels like in my heart goes out to you. The only thing I can say is that the pain doesn’t go away, but I promise it will get softer. Sending you all the healing love from one mama to another ❤️🤗🕊️

My daughter was stillborn 11 years ago. My biggest fear has always been and will always be that she is forgotten. Not by me- that’s impossible. But by everybody else. Somebody telling they they remember would be such a gift.

Wow, I’ve never heard anyone say that and that just hit me. I lost my son May 18, 2025 the stomach cancer and I feel like that that or they’re afraid to say something also.

SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. MY DAUGHTER JESSICA PASSED AWAY 70 DAYS AGO. JULY 6TH 2026. "I REMEMBER" REALLY DOES MEAN THE WORLD TO ME. SHE WAS 30 YEARS OLD AND HAD SO MUCH LIFE LEFT TO LIVE. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER!!!!!

My daughter’s birthday just passed 9/11. (She passed in 2017) The amount of people who posted to her social media pages sending birthday greeting truly touched my heart. Their remembering her helps me live with her loss. I remember is such a powerful thing to say to a grieving mother or father. That’s what we hope for, that they are not forgotten. I am so sorry for the loss of your son.
