Right now nobody knows if Bitcoin or Ethereum is a stock or a commodity which means the SEC can sue anyone at any time. If it passes exchanges get licensed and money floods in. If it fails no retry until 2027. Only 35% chance it passes. Was at 82% earlier this year. WEDNESDAY — THE FED RATE DECISION. The Fed decides whether to raise interest rates for the first time since 2023. This affects your mortgage your stocks your savings and crypto all at once. 83% of traders expect a hike after inflation came in at 3.7% with oil above $92. JPMorgan says hike. Goldman says hold. Nobody agrees. If they hike stocks and crypto sell off. If they hold everything pumps because nobody saw it coming. Two days. Two votes. Two outcomes. This week is not one to sleep on. Markets have already priced in a rate raise. If the Fed doesn't raise rates markets might actually tumble because this means that a bigger raise may be necessary in the future (and that Warsh is unreliable!)
