See, people complain that they hate that Eric became an idiot. They tend to forget that there's episodes like this that actually show the transition from being that teenage girl crazy guy into who he becomes, which is a goofy, fun loving guy who doesn't this doesn't take everything's so serious unless he absolutely sees that the situation requires seriousness.
