We’re using @stewart_pet treats, which are made with single ingredients and easy to break into smaller pieces for training. STEP 2: Teach “hold” & “drop”. Start by rewarding your dog for picking up the phone. Once they’ve mastered “hold,” teach them to drop it directly into your hand and reward immediately! STEP 3: Add the “get it” command. Place the phone nearby and introduce your verbal cue: “Find my phone!” Reward your dog when they pick it up and bring it back to you. STEP 4: Increase the distance. Slowly move the phone farther away as your dog gets more comfortable. Keep rewarding each successful retrieval with small pieces of Stewart treats! STEP 5: Put it all together!
