if you cross over to the to the dirt path side in Metuchen you can walk all the way to south Plainfield. there are some nice hiking trails in the park at the end.

My Aunt from Florida loves running the Greenway when they come up to visit. When I was a punk kid it was old train tracks we'd go sneak beers and smoke pot on. lol I'm happy it's a nice place now
