i feel like Roblox is getting viewed as this “get rich quick” method. anybody can just buy a ChatGPT subscription to get Astra, then connect it to Roblox Studio and make a game (whether good or bad) that can earn money. i think the top earners % will keep shrinking, there will only remain a few dev teams that stay on top. and the rest of the market will get diluted due to a surplus of content. good ideas will get duplicated to the highest degree. marketing will become even more important than it already is. competition will continue to rise. Roblox itself may have to adjust the game to make up for this, who knows. overall, i think it will dramatically change consumer behavior. people will STILL play and enjoy Roblox regardless. i don’t want to necessarily shame anybody for using AI to build via Roblox… rather, i just want to challenge you to build from passion & for user experience as opposed to just for-profit. because that’s when it becomes exploitive. and that’s how you ruin a good community overtime. i don’t even play Roblox, i just have homies who do & they make content on it - farm views + subscribers on YouTube. i’m speaking from a universal perspective, i feel like this issue with Roblox will be the same issue in many different industries or niches. other games will fall victim to the same thing. food for thought.
