1971: $3.50 × 7 days = $24.50 ÷ (min wage at the time) $1.60/hr = 15.3 hours of work. 2026: $581 ÷ (federal min wage now) $7.25/hr = 80.1 hours of work. So a week at Disney went from 15 hours of minimum-wage labor to 80 hours. That’s over 5× as much work just to afford admission btw
