Saying “Krogers” is very Indiana. Worked at Meijer a short time and ppl always said Meijers . Also THE Walmart would be acceptable.

90% of my calls are because our state flowers (traffic barrels) get blown all over the road and need picked up.

The dispatcher I called when I witnessed someone get hit by a train in front of me must’ve been so relieved it was a real emergency 😭 from Indiana. I witnessed Shauna Synaesel’s death. You may have read about it in WTHR in 2019

Once while visiting my parents in Indiana I got the cops called on me for "using the bathroom while not being a paying customer" at a hardware store. The kicker? Another customer made that call bc they were mad I was using the bathroom when they had to go. When the cops found out the store didn't call, they left without even talking to me.

My neighbor once called the cops on me because her 3yo ran into MY yard, where my dog was tied up, and he barked at her kid and scared him and he fell down. Put up a privacy fence after that. 😂

I don’t work in E911, but I work in an adjacent field and I had someone call and ask for dispatch because “a dog was aggressively barking at a cat”

my daughter had been a 911 dispatcher/operator for 3 counties, done EMT for 4, from Indy to Rural western Indiana.
She's had "my neighbors put their trash can too close to mine", "my neighbor's car is parked in front of my house", "I have a doctor appointment in the morning and I forget which doctor, can you help me?" (this was rural, at about 1in the morning, and they were indeed able to figure out which doctor), and of course, true emergencies.
