Zhuifengganyue（Chasing the wind and moon） The core characteristic of the "Chasing the Wind and Moon" technique in staff play is summed up in a single word: “continuity”. It rarely appears as an isolated strike; instead, it serves as a high-speed, seamless link between movements. The technique demands that the leading hand guides while the rear hand follows, with the two hands coordinating fluidly to unleash power in one continuous flow. The staff rises like an arrow and descends like the wind; one move follows another before the first has even concluded, keeping the opponent under relentless pressure and denying them any chance to catch their breath. In Wudang Baxiangun (Eight Immortals Staff), it stands as a distinct technique that emphasizes an unbroken chain of attacks. Mastering this move requires focusing not on the speed of an individual strike, but on the smoothness of the transition: the staff chases the opponent, the hands chase the staff, and the body chases the hands.
