My dad has been gone 47 years. My parents bought a house like 48 years ago I went up on the roof looking around and I knew I wasn’t alone turned around and he had climbed up the ladder. I went down to hold the ladder but he couldn’t get on the ladder so I had to go back up. I was over 200 pounds he was close to 200 on a ladder that was rated for 250 pounds thought for sure the ladder was going to collapse. Almost called the fire department. Thinking about it he was the same age I am now 77
