This made me so emotional. My daughter also non verbal and quadriplegic would make a similar sound to let me know she was awake! She passed on 5/25, I’m so lost in the silence. Bless you and your little boy 💜

I'm a pediatric home health nurse and I took care of one young lady who would hold her breath to make the ventilator alarm. Sometimes she needed something, sometimes she just looked at me and smiled to tell me that she wanted some love and attention. Kids are so darn amazing 💙

Oh he's so beautiful!!! My fav part of my day was hearing my very loud non verbal, quadriplegic boy yelling out for me then giving me a huge smile when he saw me and a giggle. Our house was so quiet when he died, they may be non verbal but they can be noisy and know how to grunt & stuff to get your attention.........and not to mention the telepathy of feeling his emotions. I miss my boy so much. Purest love I ever felt.
