my biggest issue with my hearing aids (except that I now get migraines from wearing them) is that my hair and glasses are constantly rubbing over the microphone. this seems like it would definitely solve the hair issue, but how does it do with glasses?

I love these, but i still wonder how comfortable hearing aids are with glasses. I might need hearing aids later in life, and as someone who wears glasses full time, i need something that fits with my needs

Exactly why mine are always colorful! Having red one’s now. Before this green, purple, blue, pink with purple (was my first set when I was a kid)

I got black implant processors specifically to stand out against my red hair. the lady Kent trying to steer me towards ones that would "blend in better". no, I want people to see it and to know!!

There’s a brand on here that does embellished jewellery style heating aids with embedded diamonds and gold/silver tones, a colab with them would be awesome!!

This is amazing, though I doubt they’d end up being free on the nhs (which mine are, which is great). One of the biggest issues I have is the sound of my hair brushing against them, which means I have to tie my hair up all the time, which I don’t like either!

Do you also have adapters for people who also wear glasses? I'd imagine that having two "arms" behind your ear would annoy and hurt in the long time

why are the mics usually on the back anyway?? I never understood. all I can hear is my hair brushing against them and surrounding noise, I just want to hear the person I'm talking to

correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like, at least in theory, it might also be helpful to have people around you know that you're wearing a hearing aid. That way 1. they know you're deaf/hard of hearing and they know you might not be able to hear them perfectly, etc, so they can accommodate you better (bc obviously hearing aids aren't perfect) and 2. for the people that know you it might be helpful to be able to clearly see if you're hearing your hearing aids or not and thus know how they can best communicate with you in that moment
