I’ve played pick up with plenty of Kentucky players who are now in the league. I got a stop on PJ Washington and then went and hit a 3 with him guarding me. I know good and well he wasn’t really trying. I was going all out he was giving maybe 10% and he still had most of the teams points

No, some of us have seen y’all played against some great people, but they had problems with the law and that’s what stopped them and since you didn’t or have people to help you out, you was able to make it while the other person who should’ve made it didn’t at least that’s what I saw growing up

Completely missing the point. 1v1 is 1v1. It’s not 5v5. If yall don’t like the scene you don’t need to go out of your way to shit on it. But many NBA players have talked shit. Took a game: then lost.

Years ago Ricky Pierce showed up to a pickup at the Y in my neighborhood in Chicago. 1. He gave me props for my defense, said I reminded him of the little annoying PGs he played in college. 2. I didn’t bother him at all because he didn’t f’n miss.3. He was playing at like 15% max. This was way back in the 90s. Yall don’t realize how good these players are 4 real.
