Dates are naturally sweet with the perfect chewy, caramel-like flavor, and they taste SO GOOD wrapped around a crisp apple! 😍 It’s such a fun and easy fall treat made with just 2 main ingredients! Recipe 👇 Ingredients: - 9 Medjool dates - 1 large Honeycrisp apple, or any crisp apple - 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional) - 1 tsp coconut oil (optional) - Sprinkles, crushed pretzels or shredded coconut (optional) How to: - Pit the dates, if needed, and place them between two sheets of plastic wrap. - Use a rolling pin to flatten the dates into one sheet. - Wrap the flattened dates around the apple until it’s completely covered. -If desired, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil, dip the apple in the chocolate and add your favorite toppings. - Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to set. - Slice into wedges and enjoy!
