In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna reveals his divine nature to Arjuna most clearly in Chapter 10 (Vibhuti Yoga) and in an even more powerful way in Chapter 11 (Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga), where he shows his universal form. One of the most important verses expressing his supreme nature is Chapter 10, Verse 8: Sanskrit: अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते । इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः ॥ Transliteration: Ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate iti matvā bhajante māṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ Translation: “I am the source of all creation. Everything emanates from Me. Knowing this, the wise worship Me with full devotion and sincerity of heart.” Chapter 11, Verse 8 Sanskrit: न तु मां शक्यसे द्रष्टुमनेनैव स्वचक्षुषा । दिव्यं ददामि ते चक्षुः पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम् ॥ Transliteration: Na tu māṁ śakyase draṣṭum anenaiva sva-cakṣuṣā divyaṁ dadāmi te cakṣuḥ paśya me yogam aiśvaram Translation: “You cannot see Me with your present eyes. Therefore, I grant you divine vision. Behold My mystical and divine power.”Chapter 9, Verse 18 Sanskrit: गतिर्भर्ता प्रभुः साक्षी निवासः शरणं सुहृत् । प्रभवः प्रलयः स्थानं निधानं बीजमव्ययम् ॥ Transliteration: Gatir bhartā prabhuḥ sākṣī nivāsaḥ śaraṇaṁ suhṛt prabhavaḥ pralayaḥ sthānaṁ nidhānaṁ bījam avyayam Translation: “I am the ultimate goal, the sustainer, the lord, the witness, the dwelling place, the refuge, and the selfless friend. I am the origin and the dissolution of all beings, the foundation, the resting place, and the eternal, imperishable seed of existence.” ⸻ This teaching is further expanded in Chapter 9, Verse 17: Chapter 9, Verse 17 Sanskrit: पिताहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः । वेद्यं पवित्रम् ओंकार ऋक् साम यजुरेव च ॥ Transliteration: Pitāham asya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥ vedyaṁ pavitram oṁkāra ṛk sāma yajur eva ca Translation: “I am the father of this universe, the mother, the sustainer, and the grandfather.
