@mrgraphicas: SAME NEEDLE. DIFFERENT LINE WEIGHT. Sound on. 🎧 Before reading further: what STROKE do you think this machine is running? Now watch the needle again. Same cartridge. Same tattoo. But different visual weight depending on: → machine angle → hand speed → controlled entry and exit → skin stretch → how much of the grouping is actually working against the skin This is where needle control becomes more advanced. You’re no longer just “pulling a line”. You’re learning how the same needle behaves in different positions and how to modulate the result without constantly changing cartridges. Small tip: don’t confuse more line weight with simply going deeper. Depth still has to stay controlled. The real skill is understanding how angle, movement, stroke and hand speed work together on THAT specific skin. Now test your eye — and your ear: What stroke do you hear? 3.2? 3.5? 4.0? Something else? And do you intentionally change line weight with the SAME needle, or do you prefer switching configurations? Drop your setup in the comments.
