@todayshow: Stephen Garcia, former star quarterback for the South Carolina Gamecocks, sits down with TODAY’s Craig Melvin to open up about being diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer at age 38. “It was definitely a shock,” he says, “but I wasn't going to sit there and be like, ‘Well, I guess I’m done.’ It’s more like, ‘What am I going to do? How am I going to beat this thing?”

Stage 4 at 34. 36 now. Still fighting. Just started the treatment plan from Md Anderson. Mine and his are almost exactly the same. I know what he’s going thru personally. I know how hard it is with kids and everything. Pray for you man.
