If the battery in the sensor is dead it wont reset with any tool ,,, if the battery is dead the sensor will have to be replaced

The true problem is the little battery in the valve stem is low and needs replacing. This thing might reset it but it will always come back on ! Been there and dealt with it ! The battery is dead and won’t connect to the system so it will put that light on until it is replaced !!

It’s just if you open the driver‘s door look on the chassis of the vehicle you’ll see how much pressure is supposed to be in the tire and then you get yourself a tire gage and check the pressure if it’s off by more than 6 pounds that light will come on fill the tire to the proper pressure and most cars like mine has a button in the glove box that you press and hold for 5 to 10 seconds and it makes it light go out if not then you just need to drive the car for a mile or two and the light will be set on its own once the tire pressure is that normal pressure

Or, just spitballing here, push the reset button normally in the glovebox. Unless you just want a new widget.

TPMS have a shelf life...they will go bad and need replaced and they ain't cheap. If one goes the others arent far behind. Replace them all at same time

normally keep car on fill tire. horn beeps when correct. on Mitsubishi and some other cars you actually have to drive after filling to reset the tps sensor. I drive for a living hundreds of cars weekly. I've never needed a repair module for a sensor. I've only ran into a bad sensor once or twice in 5 yrs
