The uk has different older plumbing to the us so we don’t flush anything other than toilet paper as wet wipes can cause massive blockages. You could use sanitary bags to dispose of wipes? 💃

I feel like your girlfriend needs to be helping you find these things because they deffo exist! Have a look at Wype. It’s like a gel you can carry in your purse to basically turn toilet paper into a wet wipe , think it might help a bit !!

There’s a sanitary brand called ‘flo’ often sold in supermarkets like Asda. They do organic period products if that helps :)

if you keep bread in the fridge it's good for up to 5 days after it expires! or you can freeze it and defrost a couple slices as you need them :)

There are period products called flo, you can get them in usual supermarkets, or beauty/hygiene stores like boots and superdrug. those are super good!

Buy warburtons bread! I get the little 400g loaves because I wouldn’t use a full size one on my own. Last a little bit longer than fresh bread, ‘best before’ is usually in like 4 days time & u can sometimes get an extra day out of it. I believe the toilet wipes aren’t really allowed to be marketed as flushable anymore because they don’t break down fast enough, so most of them say ‘biodegradable’. I noticed the change in my 4 years working in health&beauty retail. You could buy some nappy/diaper bags to bag up the wipes for your bin to avoid smells. Failing that, you couuuuld flush them but it’s not good for your pipes. :) x

Wet wipes that are specifically flushable here are called wet flushable toilet tissues, or sometimes washlets or just toilet wipes and they’ll be sold on the same aisle as toilet paper usually. Sometimes they’ll have no indication of what they are on the packet but they will say “flushable”, here are some by Andrex on Amazon. I’ve seen them in Tesco, Asda, Boots. I would definitely look in the aisle where toilet paper is sold. Good luck!! :)
