The VA is the worst. Literally took my husband having a terminal illness to get his needs met. So keep pushing to get any and ALL benefits. Best organization to work with is Semper Fi& funds. They will help you with anything.

Not VA, but I waited 8 months for an endocrinologist appointment for her to tell me that my primary care provider was doing everything already that she would have suggested......8 MONTHS?!?! FOR THIS?!?!

Sat in a room with an iv in waiting on my colonoscopy for 3 hrs before my friend got up to see what was going on and they said my doctor called to the ER and said i could wait for 3 more hours for the doctor that almost killed me the year before. Immediately rescheduled for 2 weeks later

One time my boyfriend and I had driven two hours to the VA for him after he took the day off of work, get there wait around 45 minutes just for them to tell us they don’t have the right equipment needed to do his hearing test. Let’s just say it took him about 7 years before he returned to the VA
