I think we can all relate to this. what you have to do is write yourself a list of negotiables and non-negotiables. unfortunately we can't have everything we want at every second in life. so making yourself a plan of this is a want and this is a need and go from there

I just turned 31 too and i feel the same especially about the kids part. Its a little dreadful thinking that i still need to meet and date someone for a couple of years before considering kids. And my mental health is taking a toll because im not where i told myself i’d be at this stage

omg yes. like I have such a good life and everything is going decent and arguably better than most people. but also I can't afford a house and also should I move to date even if it's not somewhere I want to be? or should I move for a job I don't really want but would be a good job. but it would ruin the life I've built that I really like.

You’re thinking too big picture! Worry about the decisions you’ll have to make in the next 6 months - 1 year and choose the decision that will make you happiest in the next 1-2 years. Everything else, worry about it as it comes and YES give up on whatever timeframe you had in mind

You’re over thinking it. From your own admission you have a lot going for you and also you’re hot. Everything will be just fine. You’re doing great! If you’re looking to make more friends join more clubs / follow your hobbies. I’m sure if you posted a TikTok starting a meetup to make friends you would meet a ton of people.

Liking this to stay on this side of tiktok because I'm going through the same thing. Amazing friends, amazing family. Always felt behind career wise and that filled me with anxiety so I over compensated and went full on career mode for the last decade. Not filthy rich by any means but I'm doing very well career wise now, but I felt that I've lost valuable time in finding a partner. I don't regret my decisions but that one stings a bit. I'm about to be 34 and feel like time is running out for me.
