@metroentertainment: This may just be the most Bruce Wayne thing Christian Bale has ever done 🥹😭 Christian Bale has spent 17 years trying to build something he says could be one of the things he’s most proud of - a foster care village designed to stop siblings from being separated. The idea started when Bale looked at his own young daughter and imagined what would happen if she had no parents. He then learned that around three in four siblings entering foster care are separated, adding another layer of trauma to an already devastating experience. That became Together California, a community in Palmdale with 12 homes, each designed to house up to six siblings with a full-time foster parent, alongside an 11,000-square-foot community centre and on-site support. Bale told CBS Sunday Morning that he doesn’t see this as simply a charity project - he wants to create a completely different model of foster care, where children have stability, community and the chance to stay with their brothers and sisters. And after nearly two decades of setbacks, fundraising and planning, the village is now open.
