I know this probably sounds stupid, but can you give examples of things to say or do that encourage a man? Right now, I feel like I’m always telling my kids “good job! You did it!” But using that type of language with my husband doesn’t translate the same.

I say things that I see him do and just add to it, if he fixes something I thank him and say "I am so glad I have a handy husband, think of all the money we have saved over the years! Thats so nice"

This is a good reminder! My husband and I both provide for the household, but I’m on modified bedrest right now for my pregnancy so he has so much on his shoulders with chores and childcare. I know he needs to hear that!
