I used to teach dance as a middle school elective. My principal was on my ass after a couple petty parent complaints, and I told her that there was objectively nothing wrong with the way I was teaching my students. I told her, “I understand and respect that you don’t have a background in dance, but this is just how dance classes work”. She couldn’t outright fire me, so she came up with some bullshit reason to force me to resign 😂
