What my counselor told me, yes you can use Sophia BUT only if you’re just looking to promote. Why? Main reason is if you’re looking to actually pursue a Masters, Doctorates Degree and or continuing to study after or during the military most of the Colleges/Universities will not accept Sophia credits, they know it’s a fast tracking program be mindful of that 🫡 Especially if you’re going towards G2G 🤙🏾

You should choose a job in the military that translates well, that way when you get out the college takes as much credits as possible because you’re gonna get a degree in that field and continue to work in that field. You’ll probably be around half way through your bachelors already depending on how many schools you get while you’re in.

the IMPORTANT part out of all this is- If you are ALREADY in and want to work towards your degree, make sure the school accepts sophia credits. alot of schools won't accept SOME of the credits from Sophia because it isn't allied accredited. so it actually depends on WHAT you are trying to go to school for. NOW HOWEVER, for people that's wanting to join and HAVE NOT signed a contract yet, it definitely help yall because you will go in with college credit hours (rank). but while ur in, it won't help as far as ranking up. but it will help BEFORE signing.

Yes however do the Sophia courses first - research what program you want to do then do the courses on Sophia .. if you it after the credit will not be on the transcript
