Before this story begins, I’m leaving a little piece of my heart here — with all my care, hope and attention. 🤍 She has already been through 6–7 surgeries in her life because of cleft lip and its consequences. Yet her nose has remained one of the most difficult parts of her journey — wide, dominant, and simply not in harmony with her delicate face. After seeing some of my previous cleft lip nose deformity cases and how meaningful these changes can be in a person’s life, she found me and trusted me with hers. Tomorrow is her surgery. This is not an easy case, and I feel the weight of that responsibility deeply. But if we can give her a nose that finally feels more balanced, refined and truly hers, it may mean much more than just a physical change. This is where her new chapter begins. We’ll share her journey — and the result — with you. 🤍 Cleft lip and palate affect approximately 1 in every 700 babies worldwide, making them among the most common congenital facial differences. For many patients, the journey does not end with childhood surgery. Cleft lip nose deformity can remain one of the most visible and challenging parts of that journey.
