I use to live in port hardy and I worked in a stationary store so we would do deliveries to alert bay. I remember that totem pole. So sad to see it come down.

A sad day for the coastal peoples. It saddens me greatly. I was in alert bay a few years ago and I am so happy that I got to see the big house and the world’s tallest totem pole.
